— As Ogbakor Ikwerre Free Medical Mission Enters Day Two
As the ongoing free medical outreach organised by the Ogbakor Ikwerre USA/Canada Incorporated in partnership with Emohua local government enters its day two at the newly built Emohua local government primary healthcare centre, five patients have been successfully operated for different ailments ranging from appendicitis, hernia, bumps and other diseases.
The surgeries were performed on Tuesday by the surgeons attached to the free medical/surgical mission team of the Ogbakor Ikwerre USA/Canada Incorporated, with the assistance of the resident doctor and staff of the Emohua local government primary healthcare authority.
Chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd on Tuesday visited the patients in their hospital beds to congratulate and encourage them on their successful surgical operations.
The 5-Day medical mission which commenced on Monday is expected to come to a close on Friday.
